Pooled, no news

So my friend has been pooled for maths at cambridge but he hasn't heard any more news, despite interviews for maths being today. What does this mean?

Maybe that they're going to interview some people and see if they're better than your friend or not then make a decision. Your friend (is this you?) should hang in there.

Ya, I am pooled too, but apparently maths interviews are going on today.

I am an international maths pooled applicant confused.

My skin is also prune-like from spending so much time in the water =/

My mate has been pooled too and as of yesterday, he hadn't heard anything too.

But he's got an offer from Imperial for engineering so he's not so bothered if Cambridge doesn't deliver.
