i think my perm has gone!

ok yesturday i washed my hair and for the first time in ages used conditioner and i pulled my hair up into a pony tail and it was curly, but as it dried only the end of the hair was curly, and the rest was straight!!!! (wtf?!) and now most of my hair is straight! im really worried that my 80 quid hair has gone, and if it has can i go back to the shop and demand a refund?

how long since you got a perm?
Have you follow the instructions they gave you for looking after it?
Have you washed it since and re scrunched etc?

Oh and it's hard to get a refund from a hairdressers really. You paid and walked out of the place happy with your hair. It would be up to the owners of the place what they would do if you went back...I don't think they would do much though.

Sweetie, you ain't getting rid of it that easily. I thought the same thing a few weeks after my perm but unfortunately it has stayed for over two years!

Have you washed your hair and styled it as advised since it went straight?
Did you use any products on it (other than conditioner) to put it up?

Its because you tied it up, by having the top part tied against your head you held it flat whilst it dried. It will be fine once you wash it again.

Firstly, why oh why would you get a perm :confused:

I was getting them when i was like 9 when they were actually in fashion.
And second, if you've had it in for a while then it won't have "gone" :confused:

, if you washed it not long after getting the perm though, then it probably has.

just wash it again and dry your hair scruching it up gently (best done with your head upside down so the hair doesn't get too flat on top)

but whole were are on the subject the hair at the frount of my hea, that but that goes behind my ears gets straight really quickly which is annyoing :frown:
