# Urgent help needed exam tomorrow - Linear Functions watch

1. I have an exam tomorrow which includes linear functions but my maths book is awful and I can't understand anything about it... Having looked at past papers i see that usually the questions they ask are as follows:

I would be most grateful if someone posted solutions to the questions posted above or at least gave me instructions on what to do to solve them! Thanks in advance! Btw the answers are marked with a cross...
2. 19) f is linear, so f(-1,-3) = -1*f(1,0) - 3*f(0,1), and f(0,1) = (1/2)*f(0,2).
20) Note that (3,3) = (1,2) + (2,1), conveniently...
9) Let x = (a,b). Then Ax = (4,3,4) gives you three equations: 1a + 1b = 4, 0a + 1b = 3, and 1a + 1b = 4 (again).
