# Exponential Growth/Decay watch

1. Hi there,

Could someone please explain to me (in layman's terms) the definition of 'exponential growth' and 'exponential decay'; using a sketch to aid your answer. It's a question on an old C3 paper and the mark scheme's handwritten and i can't make out the answer.

Cheers.
