I get turned on by 'her' having some hair there (not a bush but some trimmed hair down there). I don't like no hair down there at all but that's just me.
Nah **** that mate. A lad I know was seeing someone with what can only be described as a stab wound on a gorillas back, was like eating spaghetti of a barbershop floor.

Oh and yeh shaving is nasty! If you are gonna get rid of the hair wax it! There is no stubble
what is there then, when it grows back?
how can there not be stubble if it doesn't stay hairless forever?

The fact of the matter is that the pubic hair shouldn't be an issue to guys unless its so thick you can't get find your way around down there! All these guys saying girls would be cheated on if they aren't immaculately preened are just proving their immaturity and the fact they clearly can't have been in a long term relationship! My boyfriend couldn't care less if I have shaved my legs or not of if my wax is growing back - it doesn't make me any less sexy to him.

Either that, or too many teenage boys have the wrong idea about sex because of what they see in porn films. They expect a girl to swallow, to moan, clean shaven, gagging for it, etc.

Porn is NOT a representation of real life. I remember watching that Channel 4 programme on Sex education a couple of years ago and when a class full of 15 year olds were lined up in front of 5 sets of boobs, they all chose the silicone enhanced boobs as what they perceived to be the best! Numpties.

To me the word stubble implies it to be coarse and just rather nasty when it grows back similar to the plucking eyebrows grows back, really fine and now when i look in the mirror you can't even see the areas that have been waxed even when its fully grown because the hair is so fine! Its fantastic! I use to shave down there for years but it just got worse and worse!

Defintely! Porn is a massive influence on it all. Boys growing up these days have no realistic expectations about sex and it is really depressing. It is a completely sexist issue where a lot is expected from women but i guess that is just the way the world is now

Yeah but porn is entertainment, of course its not realistic. The males have 9 inch dongs minimum, and I know I dont. You could say its sexist how females percieve penis size unrealistically creating insecurities for men about it when all some girls know to be normal is a porn ****.

Porn is an industry and I doubt it would make a fraction of its profits it does at the minute if they filmed a size 10, B cup, pube infested normal girl having sex with a chubby, 6 inched, moobed average guy. People want to see the extremes and unrealistic, its fantasy. Hopefully by the age of about 15 men should realise that not everyone lives up to what we're told is perfect. Nothing sexist about it I don't think.

About the pube thing though... I trim my body hair, I tried shaving everything but Im a bit of an OCD and couldnt have no pubes but hairy legs, so its all or nothing. Theres too much of it and its not a good look for a male apparently, I've grown to like my body hair, I just trim it to a nicer length. I like a clean shaven/waxed girl though, its like make-up, it enhances femininity. That said though I wouldnt really care if a girl was hairy and they pulled it off. Amanda Palamer would get it.

You say most guys should realise porn is a complete fantasy when they get to 15 but the reality is that most guys don't. The fact that you prefer a clean shaven girl and you find it enhances femininity seems odd to me, the idea itself is scary seeing as that is what girls look like before puberty. I understand there can be too much hair and can seem unhygenic or whatever, but when it is just preference for looks, it seems it has gone too far. Something like pubic hair - there shouldn't even be preferences for something like that - but there is because sexuality is such a huge force in society today.
Girls do not expect a 10th as much from men as men expect from women when it comes to sexuality. As the that Quenty guy mentioned above.

Yeah I realise a lot of guys dont, but they will eventually. You have to realise at some point, unless you get lucky and score a pornstar every time haha. I think its just perspective tbh though. I'd say I agree girls dont expect much of men but when youre in a college class of 19 people and being one of 3 males, and the only straight one you hear one or two truths from the girls about their expectations of the penis size, body shape, body hair, looks, personalities of men. Both sexes are guilty of having high expectations, you just have to look past it and find someone mature enough to realise the world ends with a bit of unshaven hair.

I dont know why I prefer shaven, or why I think I do. I suppose its probably half pornographys fault. Iv never really thought about it, I dont see why I should alter my taste just to go against the grain about everything in life. And I see your point about the prepubescant thing, but what I mean by it enhancing femininity is that hair is associated with men, its quite rugged and masculine, where women are associated with being smooth and soft and delicate and all that craic on. I neither agree or disagree with those steriotypes, just saying they are in place and we are all guilty of conforming to them. Whether those opinions are innate or given to us by society is another issue

in your defence, although I completely agree with the girls saying boys shouldn't require them to shave/ be harsh when they don't
I'm a girl and I've never watched porn but I can completely see how shaved is better- to me it feels gross down there if there's rough hair and I think it does look unattractive. it is a huge hassle keeping it that way though- especially because it might grow back thicker

I meant it in the sense that if you pull a girl you really like and you're in the situation where you can see her pubic hair - she's putting herself out there. I'm sure not many guys would say anything but just the way they discuss it. It would be like girls ****ging off small penises saying how disgusting they are, (I'm aware some girls do it, but its still wrong) when in fact its all natural. I wouldn't see an issue unless men had to go to the lengths that girls do to remove body hair - it seems pretty unfair!
we have facial hair we have to remove practically everyday, and i get my back done often because back hairs apparently a no no.

This will sound so gross, but it's kind of relevant. (girl)
I always keep myself trimmed, and then shave when I know sexual stuff is going to happen, but I've realised I've got quite a hairy ass crack. It's extremely embarrassing, and whenever I feel a guy go near my ass I just tense up or move off in case he can feel it.
It's very hard to shave that area, and when I do it hurts so much when it grows back.
I can't just leave it because it feels disgusting, and a guy could easily see it when we're doing doggystyle or going down on me. Does anyone else suffer with this? and what do you do?

This depends if you mean fully removed or partially. I have to say, from personal experience, giving oral to a girl is no more difficult if she has more pubic hair than what is considered normal nowadays, it's all in the fingers, so to speak. Lots of men complain about getting pubes stuck in the teeth, and I think to myself....where the hell are you doing because you certainly aren't operating in the right place if you are!

I think completely shaven (aka nothing) looks a bit wrong, and it's shame that many girls feel they have to do this nowadays. I wouldn't mind if there was variety to it, but it's like a cultural and social blackmark nowadays to too much hair. Variety is the spice of life, if it all looks the same, it gets tiring eventually.

For a middleground response, I do reckon that keeping it trimmed is probably the best way of approaching this.

I'm not sure what you can do about that... laser treatment??

Anyway, it's probably not as noticeable as you think. Probably.

I get waxed probably once a month if that! It's fantastic! I get a brazilian because the hair that annoys me is the under bit and then just have a strip left on top. I started it because shaving was driving me crazy but have found the more I do it the less I need to now.
