    Hi,

    I'm in a real financial mess at the moment and need help badly!

    1. I was in a car accident a few weeks ago and have to pay £750 for my voluntary excess in a couple of weeks.

    2. The police have sent me a improvement driving course to go on which will cost me another £161

    3. I have to pay £240 for my insurance per month with is due to be payed on the 4th of Feb.

    The worse thing of all is I have just lost my job as the restaurant I was working in has went bankrupt.

    So I have no regular income anymore I have £550 savings in my bank which I can use to pay these bill however I need a planned overdraft from my bank until I can get myself another job.

    Bills = £1151 Savings = £550

    So I need a planned overdraft of around £500 from my bank.

    I bank with Lloyds TSB and have a silver account with them does anyone know how I could go about doing this?

    Any help what so ever would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Phone up bank and ask for overdraft. You may be asked to go.
    They even have a page about it
    http://www.lloydstsb.com/current_acc...overdrafts.asp

    why do you have a bank acct that you have to pay monthly for though?

    They give me free phone insurance and AA cover for just £8 per month

    My old phone insurance cost me £10 a month so seem economical.
