I've been invited to an assessment centre for BAE's graduate scheme on 24/25th February. Sadly it's the one day of the year where I had something good planned. Just my luck, I should have expected it.

I have a front row ticket to see Lady GaGa on the 24th in Liverpool, and the assessment centre is in Basingstoke. There's no way I can make both.

I've been looking forward to seeing Lady GaGa for a year now, and if I go to the assessment centre and don't pass it I'll regret selling my ticket. But if I don't go to the assessment centre I'm losing out on a potential opportunity.

What do you suggest I do?

Would they have other assessment centre dates later on I could try reschedule for?

Forget Lady Gaga go to the assessment centre. You will regret it for the rest of your life. Lady Gaga will tour again. BAE may fill their spots on the day. I know someone who was in a similar situation and they still regret it now.

It certainly puts me in an awkward situation. I'd regret missing out on either of them so it's a no win situation. Yes GaGa will tour again years from now but it wouldn't be the same, likewise BAE will recruit again. I didn't apply to this one because it would be my dream job, I applied to many and this was one of them.

Since they didn't do telephone interviews I expect it to be extremely competitive and I doubt I have any chance.

But I'm looking into buying a Manchester ticket for GaGa and selling mine. Problem is I have no experience of doing that and Manchester tickets seem to be selling for more on eBay.

I think she will be back next year she has another album out this year. Don't ask me how I know that lol.

I honestly just think you should take any assessment centre opportunity you get.

Manchester is always hard to get tickets for.

lol someone just told me that on my Facebook status, was news to me! Knowing most pop artists though her next album will suck.

I suppose I could look into tickets at Birmingham, Sheffield or elsewhere.

But first should I see if BAE are running any more assessment centres in say March?

    Lol Gaga never dissapoints.

I would look into tickets for somewhere else and ask BAE if they are running any more assessment centres I guess if you pass it you are going to no matter what day it is on.
