2. W00T I think I lost 12 marks maximum.
What do you think the grade boundaries will be Mr M?
3. Judging by that, I dropped less than 10 marks - so that should be an A, right?

How is the answer to 3 ii) -35/4? I got 35/256 - did anybody else get that?

Also, for P i got -2/3. Anybody else get that, 'cause thats way off the answer!
4. I don't like guessing grade boundaries but I didn't seem there were any particularly difficult questions that would have thrown a large number of candidates.
5. 7(ii) how did you get it? I thought it was 33.4cm.. (13+(10-4)+(14-4)+(rx=4.4) ?

Almost certainly.
7(ii) how did you get it? I thought it was 33.4cm.. (13+(10-4)+(14-4)+(rx=4.4) ?
Sorry yes, have corrected this.

Edit: Oops I added the angle to the other sides instead of the arc length in my rush to satisfy you lot with a quick set of answers!

I was just gonna point that out xD

Mr M made a mistake? :0

or do we all suck?

EDIT: Haha yay we don't suck
9. (Original post by Mr M)

11. i think i only got around 30 marks gah
12. (Original post by Mr M)
Almost certainly.
13. Mr M, for question 8 iv do I get any method marks for substituting in the arithmetic sum formulae instead of both sigma signs and also sumstituting in values of a and d? even though I got the answer completely wrong?

EDIT: Drive safely!... Im always too slow on things -___-;
14. 9. Logarithms
(i) Exponential curve passing through (0,6) (3 marks)

what way did this pass?
right or left

it goes up moving from left to right - im off, back in a while
16. Can anyone explain 8)(iv) i kinda assumed you did 0.5n(2a+(n-1)d) substituted in a=8 d=3 and the also changed n to 2N and N took them away - but i got really lost

I also got p as this, there is no way on earth it can be 56 surely, -2/3 gave me the right answer when i substituted it back in

as for 3 ii) i did get -35/4, you had to do (-1/4)^3 x 35 x 2^4 i think
18. i got 56 for p! but i got 35/256 for 3ii, no idea how!!
19. Probably missed 90+% but hopefully still an A.

Thanks Mr M. Your very fast!
