I've never had this type of break-out before, but it's seriously frustrating me. I've always had a few scars on my chin which cover fine with a wee bit of foundation, but recently I've noticed little groups of tiny little bumps at each side of my chin and above my lip! By recently, I mean within the past few days. They look horrible unless I pile the foundation on (making them worse, I presume), which I hate doing.

I've thought of some reasons as to why I could be breaking out, can anyone tell me if any of these would be plausible?

    - New foundation. It's Estée Lauder Double Wear, but I've been using it since before Christmas.
    - Facial wash. It's Lush stuff, but I've been using that since the start of December.
    - Facial wipes. Simple Exfoliating wipes, been using them for less than a week.
    - Gym. Recently started going to the gym (only been twice in the past week, though), and I've heard some ideas that it can cause skin flare-ups.
    - Stubble rash. My boyfriend has scratchy stubble on his chin/upper lip, not sure if this could irritate my skin.

I can't offer any proper form of explanation, but before Christmas I had a random outbreak (lasted a couple of months) of tiny little bump-ish spots on either side of my nose. They were nothing like acne (which I've never suffered from), and not a large area but an annoyance all the same. I hadn't done anything different at all, but I put it down to stress. They totally went, whilst I was stress free over Christmas.

Don't wear foundation to the gym (if you do) - sweat mixed with chemicals in foundation= not good.

Do you think that could be it? I forgot to remove it before I went to the gym on both occasions, I just left what I had on from on the day there.

It could be! Worth trying at least?

Yes. I'm hardly going to wipe my arse with one then dry my face with it.

    I wasn't being rude.

I can only use a towel on my face 1 or 2 times, or I find I do break out. Most people I know use a towel more than twice, so I was just wondering.

Could be anything to be honest. Why not stop using one product for a while to see if the spots decrease. don't wear makeup to the gym, with sweat it will clog your pores.

It could be just hormonal thing or then something to do with your eating. Have you been eating greasy stuff lately? If not, it could be just a hormonal thing that goes away on it's own time.

Also, sometimes starting a new sport schedule it could cause break outs because your metabolism starts to speed up and get all the junk out of your body (and this can be seen as break outs also).

Try to drink lots of water (or green tea!) and eat fruits and sugary things in moderation. Hope it turns out well.
