So I have already applied to Universities for Medicine in 2010. I got rejected from Bristol  but haven't heard anything from Imperial, Edinburgh or QMUL.
I just applied to KCL for Biomedical Sciences thinking it would make a good backup. The only thing is my personal statement is tailored for Medicine, I haven't said anything specifically about Biomed.

Is this normal for people who apply for Biomed as a backup for Medicine to use the same Personal Statement? Will it affect the application?

A lot of medic hopefuls in the PS help forums were applying for biomed as their 5th choice and only spoke about medicine. Universities know that medicine applicants do this and will be used to getting this kind of personal statement for their courses
