    Hi TSR,

Does anyone know whether or not, if I were to pass GCSE ICT with 100% of the available marks, I be told about it, or would I simply get an A* grade?

The exam board in question is CEA.

    Thanks,

i think if you score within the top 1% or 2% nationally you receive a letter or something...

Sonetimes it will give your actual score with the results, depends on the exam board, but the school will have your UMS marks so you can always ask and find out. I know they used to give out letters for those with the top 5 marks but some exam boards have stopped that now, I got 100% in a few of my GCSEs and didn't get anything. tbh you will realise it makes very little difference what grade you get at GCSE, let alone the exact score

I got 100% in both biology and chemistry, and got nothing. Doesn't really matter all that much, just sounds good when friends ask what % you got compared to them :P

I was asking whether or not you found out that you had 100%, I wasn't expecting a big parade :p:

Well to that extent, i don't know about CCEA but I know that AQA and OCR give you your marks (well technically UMS)
