    Just wanna know how exactly resits work... do uni's care that u sat for an exam more than once? dont they ask for like...say.. 3As at the FIRST sitting? is there nothing like that?

    help im kinda confused.. lol
    I sat for my A.S this Jan and I wanna knw if resists are possible if you wanna raise your grade to take pressure off of A2s...

    For some very competitive courses at the top unis they do specify a no resit policy. Most do not. Check the web site for the uni/subject you plan to apply for.

    They wont know if you have done the re-sit before you apply. For example you re-sit an AS in the AS year. This said, some do indeed say from the first sitting, or give higher offers for those doing resits.

    Generally as long as you show a real improvement then it's fine.
