Hi, I want to take biotin vitamins for my hair , I was going to buy some from hollands and baretts, they have them in two doses, one is 300ug , 100 tablets- 4 have to be taken each day for £4.09, the other one is 1000ug , 100 tablets, 2 taken each day for £7.15, I was confused to which one I should get? Im leaning towards the 1000ug one but not too sure ?
    thanks in advance

Vitabiotics do a supplement called Perfectil for hair skin and nails and they're 1 a day. I've used them and they're really good. They probably do them in Holland and Barretts, they also sell them in Boots and most chemists too.

I just worked it out and the 1000ug seems like much better value for money, because they'll run out less quickly and the ug is higher, so yeah, I would get that one if I were you. Hope that helped

I've heard of Perfectil which I thought about trying but the price is so high. Are they really good and worth the money?

Some girl I lived with took Sea Kelp every day to get longer hair. Her hair was long, not sure if it got any longer though?

Holland and Barrett do specific multivitamin tablets for hair growth and maintenance which would probably be the best choice. Biotin alone won't do much for your hair.

I'm currently taking The 1000 micrograms ones from H and B, they're fairly good. I've been using them for about a month and a half and I think they' improved hair growth slightly but not as much as I expected. Even still, I think that is because I've been taking them fully throughout my whole exam revision period therefore the stress could have an effect on hair growth. I'm going to keep taking them after exams to see if it makes a difference lol. But they are good, just need to give it some time me thinks

just a note, i looked for AGES for products to encourage hair growth, and eventually got some vitamins but they dont really do that much at all. maybe go for quite a strong product to actually make a difference and good luck
