I'm an international student and just started studying MSc here and I want to know how exams work here, what mark do u need to pass and if u didn't, can u set the exam again? when? these sort of things
i'd really appreciate it if someone explains it to me

It depends on the exam you are taking. In most cases you are able to resit the exam if you fail. Resits are usually a short period after the first exam to ensure the student hasn't started the following module before taking the exam, but, again, this depends on the exam and the university. Pass marks for pg work tends to be 50%, but with exams it can be considerably higher (a pass mark for one of my exams was 75%), so check with your uni. Good luck. SP
