I thought I'd canvas the opinions of those who are thinking about unis and probably know more about them than me!

I'm 39 and on an access course at Perth College. My UCAS application is in to study History and Politics at Stirling. However, Perth College in partnership with UHI are now offering a BA (Hons) in Politics and History.

Perth College is allegedly getting uni status which I assume must be under the UHI umbrella.

I want to go to RGU to do a postgrad in library studies once I get my degree. Anyone got an opinion as to what UHI's reputation is like? Should I hold out for Stirling or apply to Perth where I'm sure I would be guaranteed a place on their BA course?

    Thanks for any viewpoints.
