hey, i too am an asthma sufferer and a student at uni
I'm still signed up to my doctors at home so when i am home i go and get new ones in the holidays etc and when at uni and i need them i go to the local student health clinic and request some. It's good to be signed up to both, that way you'll never be short on them.

You can sign up with a dr at the place where you are at uni whilst still being with your GP back home

depending where you are going you can sign up with a doctor abroad... you should research it before you go~
or possibly talk to your GP before you go...
