    Hi anon or delete please

I am of mixed race, so sort of tanned dark, but not brown or black skin. I want to look more 'golden' and 'fresh' so would wearing a tinted moisurizer or fake tan show up on my face, or would it not work because I am already ethnic?

Hmm I don't want to use a bronzer as I want something more lasting and to make my skin glow more.

Would tanning agents work on mixed skin? I've not used them before.

if you got a proper tan from a salon or beauty clinic, a spray tan, then it would show up because they have different colour and tan levels, and you could just get a darker level

Yes, a tinted moisturiser or self tan will definitely show up, you just need to find the right shade. Unfortunately not so many brands cater to darker skintones so you may need to hunt around. For Tinted Moisturiser, I would recommend MAC Studio Moisture Tint - it comes in about 5-6 shades so unless you are really dark, you should find a shade to suit. As for self tan, I find that most are too light for me (I am an Asian/European mix). The darkest self-tan I've found so far is St Tropez (from Boots), it's quite expensive, but very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. As others have mentioned, bronzer is also an option - again, try some brands that cater to a wide spectrum of skintones like Sleek or MAC.
