    Would they really have found out? Ucas has a system where they check 1 in 10 gcse's to stop people faking. If you got past that your fine. That's what most (if not all?) uni's depend on to make sure ppl have the right gcse's. If you got past that there's a good chance you would have been fine

    then again A) there's a small chance they might check and thus will play on your anxieties and B) it's immoral.. though I'm sure someone out there can ardue that it isn't.. not me.
    yeah i was told by my parents not to tell them but I would have to wait 10 months before I finally felt like I was in for sure, it could always be the case that they might check and last minute I get kicked out... I really am a super anxious person and the suspense is already killing me.

    also, i was sending in my exam certificates anyway so chances are they would have checked.
