Because the people around me are really good merts, but I don't spend much time with them (I try to do work, but I end up not working, so I have to spend more time working, so eventually I spend most days in my room), and I haven't been out out in months, and I feel like such a loser because everyone's so close and I'm just that guy in the room who's nice but we never get to see.

Clearly the solution is to go out more and spend more time with them, but I feel like I'm a pretty crappy group conversationalist, and I don't drink (I don't feel I need it to be confident), so I am

You could make an H&R thread out of this.

I went through approximately 1000 pictures, and picked the best ~30. All in an evening's work. :hat2:

You could  You sound so much like me its scary

I know what it feels like, its a vicious cycle and it is very very difficult to get out of I know. Why not, if you find that youe not working, go into your kitchen or common room or whatever you have (assuming you live in halls) to socialise and then go back to try and work again after a little bit?

    Rotating them atm :holmes:

I got to cut it down to below 162. Should be easy.

I can cut out repeats (I recall attempting to take a photo 10 times - there's still proof. I might make a montage of it ).

But if I fill the album up then I did it in 8 days

    I will try this!

They seem to congregate outside each others' rooms at different times in the day. I should really stay and chat.

    Thank you! :hugs:

From tough experience I've found out that it's better to be the hard worker than the social loony, the hard worker's always laughing in the end...Finding the balance can be quite difficult though. I used to be out a lot with mates and now that I'm trying to get good grades I only go to birthday's and big parties really.
