I'm currently applying for colleges and one of my local colleges offers the AQA Baccalaureate. Is anyone already doing this and is it worth taking?

I did it last year and I got my result this week. Well all I have to say is that it is a lot of hassel for an extra grade that most unis dont even look at. Yes teachers ay it's something extra to put on UCAS but my friends and I have come to the conclusion that it doesn't put you in the lead of anything. Most unis didn't even ask about it the interviews. I think perspectives on science or criticial thinking is so far valued thatn AQA Bacc at the moment. Plus it's still new so most schools aren't sure what they're doing. For example a lot of the people at my school predicited A/A*s for a levels and for the AQA Bacc didn't get A's or A*s for the AQA Bacc becuase AQA said it's new and they want to make it look like it's hard to get A/A8s or something along the line. So in coclusion it's not worth the extra work and hassle...

Would it be worth taking Critical thinking as a separate A Level or should I just do Psychology or something.

I took critical thinking for 2 weeks and dropped it, mainly becuase the teacher was terrible but but I just didn't like it. If you are good with essays and like writing then it can be worhwhile since it's an extra As. Most people I know didn't get A's for Criticial thinking becuase it's so hard, but a few got it so it's possible but you have to like reading and questioning the text and answering critiacally. Lol..
