# Help with error analysis watch

1. assume A= 10.2 +/- 0.2 B=3.2 +/- 0.2

what would the errors be for:

A+B
A-B
A*B
A/B

for A+B i simply add the errors right? how about the rest?
2. It may help to do this case-by-case.

e.g.
10.4 - 3 = 7.4
10 - 3 = 7
10.4 - 3.4 = 7
10 - 3.4 = 6.6

=> A - B = 7 +/- 0.4

(You could also have seen the error being 0.4 as A - B = A + (-B)
