I am looking at joining the RAF as CE Engineer Officer, so I applied for Sixth Form sponsorship. I have my interview on Tuesday and am really struggling to prepare, my mid is literally blank. What sort of things will I need to think about/research for then?

I presume it's your filter interview (if they do a filter for sixth form schols), if so, have a good long look at this thread:

Anything that you come across that you don't know, research it and memorise it RAF, MoD, UN and NATO websites are good places to start!

    I wish you good luck!

I have had my interview in november, (not to brag!) passed with flying colours and I was highly recommended to cranwell. the interview is very scary but if you know your stuff well you will do great. But if you dont what you should not do try bluff your way through because your just be diggin a gigantic hole for youself.

Best way to prepare for this is to have a look at literally every thing the RAF are doing know who our allies are.

it really does impress when you tell them stuff like the leader of the NATO and the EU.(if you dont know anything god help you.)

    good luck

    Did you get the scholarship?

Still pimpin have you heard anything back yet? I have a friend who had bad news yesterday who lives up north. Havent had anything through the post today, hopefully thats a good thing. I'm assuming this means the selection board has sat, so its just a matter of time before all the letters get out...

(btw i was also given a 'strong reccomendation' )
