If you did well in your gcses and got good grades, did your parents buy you anything as a reward / gift? My mum said she'd buy me a £200 ring but never did. (Not that I think I really deserved one, but I don't like being promised something I won't get). I don't think my dad even said well done though.

No nothing but I don't care, I also don't expect any for my AS - levels. If my results are good enough for me and I am happy with them then I'm cool.

I got nothing, maybe a card actually :beard: I had one friend who was promised something like £100 for A* £80 for an A etc. But then she did a lot better than expected and got about £500. Jammy.

I got £400 in the end I think. I was promised a certain amount for different grades and ended up doing much much better than expected!

I got an Ipod Touch and a Sony Cybershot Camera

I got 2A* and 8A and they knew I was clever but thought i was lazy and never revised and played playstation all day (which I did) and they gave me around £100 and a nice Armani watch

A-level results day coupled with the fact I told them i didn't apply to uni that year was a different matter though

I've been promised a hug!! Oh, and if I fail/quit Latin SC I have to load dishwasher for the forseeable future! I think it shouldn't be about money anyway though.
