1. i don't know how they got matrix D or matrix . i understand how they got P, from question (i)

i'm also told that if this helps? pleeease help i'm panicking!!
2. i realise now that matrix is just matrix k with the neg/pos swapped, right? but i'm still stuck on how to get D!!
3. Do you know how to multiply matrices?
4. yes, would i multiply matrix P by another matrix to get D?
5. You're told what to multiply P by to get D. Look at the question again.

ps this question is about eigenvalues and diagonalizing matrices. have you covered this yet?
6. If you can find this man, he knows everything to do with Matrix.

yeah we've done it but i'm just not getting it thank you for this help
8. wait, sorry, i've just realised that A is

7, 2, 10
-8, -3, -16
1, 1, 4

but i still don't know how to multiply 3 matrices
9. To calculate ABC, you can look at it as A(BC) or (AB)C; Calculate one product (AB or BC), then multiply it by the other (remembering the correct order).
