I bought a quite expensive electrical item using my credit card online. I paid for some with my debit card, and paid the majority with my credit card. My Item has been shipped and is on its way to me (I've been tracking it) - but I logged in to my online credit card account to pay some off, only to find that all the money for the transaction has been wiped clear? Just totally erased as if it was never there? Saying I don't owe anything, and I have my whole available credit to spend? Does anyone know what could have happened?

I'm confused. What should I do? I'm wondering if its a problem with the bank or with the shop. Should I phone up and confess?

Nope, I've been with my bank for ages and this has never happened to me before. Its been about 2 weeks since I made the payment.

I'd wait til it arrives. If it doesn't you'll be chasing the money you paid from your debit acct.
