ok long story shortthe four uni's i have applied to are Glasgow Strathclyde Dundee and Stirling. I have recieved offers from strathclyde and dundee and i am waiting on the other 2. I live in glasgow, so if i were to go to Glasgow or Strathclyde i would stay at home, however if i went to Stirling or Dundee, i would need accomodation.
Glasgow/Strathclydes offers will be higher than the other 2, thus i would make one of them my firm, and one of Dundee/Stirling as my Insurance.
However, if i do put one of the "away" uni's as my insurance and end up not making the Firms grades, will i still be able to get accomodation?
thanks, sorry for going on a bit![]()

That depends entirely on the Uni. Check the accomodation website/call them! For my Uni, the deadline to apply for accomodation was later than results day so everyone could apply once they know for certain but I know there's Unis who handle it differently.
