Advanced higher biology help?

Hey, im studying advanced higher biology this year with my first prelim soon. finding myself struggling with section B in the past papers does anyone else feel this way? i think its the huge volume of problem solving questions (never been very good at them but must have been okay to pass higher with an A). any suggestions or advice?
