    i think it depends on skin tones as well... like some people will look too washed out in pastels but others won't... they're pretty summery colours too so it'd look cute if worn right in the right light etc

    true, could work on tanned people (lucky them!) but I'd only wear with something more standard - e.g. pastel top with jeans/shorts.
    I fear too many people wearing pastels who can't really pull it off.
