Hey I've just watched this video as part of my assignment, and think it's definately worth sharing with the applicants! As it brings up a lot of points, and is definately a good discussion and something different to bring up with your interviewers!

check the website, basically about the technology that will be used in the NHS to make things, supposedly easier. Such as acsess to patients records, and the patient having their own acsess to this at home aswell, and the video details the journey from ambulance-district nurse visit of a patient with COPD, and compares the current and future system of acsess to details.

However i currently having an image of technology breaking down, something being delayed and actually making life a bit harder. I already feel like a maintenance man, having to try and fix photocopiers, printers, bed..and computers!

that thought sort of came to my mind too, like an increase in perhaps unnecessary technology just making life more difficult all round..

& like the patient having access to their records at home, wouldn't that in a way increase the number of hypochondriacs :o: I dunno, what's your opinion on all that?
