Maybe they put it on offer because it shows that they are not just promoting binge drinking..

No alcohol whatsoever since it's just fruit juice. But you're allowed to not be sure.

I remember buying a bottle in a club last year and thinking "wow that's really smooth. I bet I could get pissed on this in no time"

Was the offer on bottle of j20 or shots?
It is only fair that there are offers on soft drinks as well as alcohol in pubs otherwise it becomes cheaper to drink alcohol which does seem a bit wrong.
i love j20, that tv advert is great *i love u all*. no no alcohol in it.

I should have been clearer, it was on mixing J20 and spirits e.g. add a shot of archers to your j20 for a quid. (or something like that) therefore going against the point of j20 completely (to my mind)

Funny, i've always thought it was alcoholic. I just....looks alcoholic, if you see what i mean. And you know in the adverts where that guy is sitting in the pub drinking J2O, and everyone is saying they really like him being there? It just seems like it would be an alcoholic drink, what with him drinking it in a pub and everything...
J20 was invented by someone who thought could charge a huge amount of money for normal fruit juice that you could by anywhere for a lot less. But juice in a fancy bottle give in an interesting name and make a whole load of money telling people it is cool.

I can understand it working in a pub...finding an apple and mango fruit juice in a pub could be tricky. But them selling in supermarkets I really don't understand.
Ah well.

I think it's pretending to be alcoholic as it's really a pub/club type drink.
We got it for christmas last year and my mate had this random idea that is was alcoholic and got all high and we were like it isn't weird

I've never worked it out. Or is it just like orange juice?

Not alcoholic... ...unless you add a double vodka to make it more palatable

They may it look like an Alcopop so that when you are in a club you could have one in your hand and it doesn't look that much different to say WKD, it's just that it has no alcohol.
Maybe it is to make people feel like they are drinking alcohol when they can't because they have to drive or something?
J2O apple and melon is amazing.

It's in alcopop-style bottles so that you don't stand out as being teetotal, if you don't want to draw attention to the fact
