Have I chosen the right undergraduate course for a Masters Degree in Screenwriting? watch

    • Thread Starter

I start University in September and I know it might be a little early to be thinking about this, but I think I want to do a Masters in Screenwriting. Couple of questions:
    1) I've applied to do English and American Studies (which is basically Eng & Am Lit with a bit of history and film) at University, am I likely to get onto said Masters degree with this qualification? The reason I didn't choose to do Film Studies is because I'm not really interested in the technical side of things, and I thought English would open more doors if I changed my mind.

    2) My hope is to do a MFA Screenwriting program at UCLA after graduating. Because I'll be going to an English university, I'm wondering whether or not I'll be qualified to their standards (since most of our courses are 3 years as opposed to 4).
