I think nowaday's this trait is exasperated because they English people sense that the people who govern them, as well as the media and more or less all of the structures that run and inform society no longer represent them , and are in fact anti who what they are - they are anti English, they repudiate and mock their history and culture... just turn on the BBC, listen to any discussion between academics on radio 4, watch question time, listen to any new announcements from the mainstream parties, listen to a police chief talk, or a council representative, or a schools inspector.
Is it any wonder when who and what you are is forbidden, or only allowed to be spoken of when mocked with disdain? Of course if you don't bow to pressure and remain who and what you are your a 'little Englander' 'racist' etc etc
Not to mention that they are constantly being told that at the same time as their culture and history is being silenced that they must 'embrace' and 'celebrate' the arrival of other peoples cultures in their home.Last edited by Time Tourist; 18-01-2010 at 20:37.

British news has been saturated with news about Haiti. Everybodys talking about. British people have donated 23 million in the space of a week.
As for immigration, we already let millions and millions of people in.
Give us SOME CREDIT. Can we ever please you or will you just find every opportunity to knock us?
