Why don't I like beer?

Everyone else my age seems to, but to me it tastes exactly the same as it did 15 years ago when I couldn't stand it and had to eat/drink something to get rid of the taste!

It's so annoying because I want to like it! :mad:

daim right! Keeeeeeep drinking! When I first had a can of beer is tasted like s**t, it was some cheap brand. I felt I couldn't drink beer without throwing up. But when I drank beer and actually tasted it and enjoyed the taste, I learnt to love it. Mmmmmmmm.....beer :smile:

I hate beer, lager and cider too and I'm a guy. Taste's to me like the after taste of throwing up. lol.

I get vodka and lemonades, jd and cokes, etc. Then people say "oi you f**got what you doin" and then i point out my "f**got" drink is like 5-6 times stronger than their beer. Soon shuts them up... :biggrin:

If you don't like it don't drink it.
No big fuss.
Although try some quality ales as well as lager like stella etc. The ales are so much nicer.

In my opinion, it tastes like gnat's pee. It's so bitter, it makes me squint, scream, turn red. You're not alone. I would rather drink Coke or Pepsi.

I didn't used to like beer, and still don't like ale, but I'll drink lager no problem. I think some people's taste buds mature to liking it quickly, others take longer or don't ever like it, like whjen people grow to like coffee etc. It's very much a personal thing.
