sweet! Hopefully see you around! Well. UCLs Maths department is like a few squishy classrooms above the Union. I know it's really silly to look at it like that but I had such a better time at the KCL open day. Such a better vibe. And I <3 the Strand!!!
    haha yeaa strands awesome
The balcony cafe thing in the building is amazing, you can see all off london from it!

    Only four months now, guys!

Does anybody know the date when we find out what accommodation we've been allocated? I was kind of hoping it might be a little earlier for those who hold unconditionals.

    Congrats. :woo:

I'm hoping for an intercollegiate hall, like Connaught, Commonwealth or Hughes Pary. I like Hampstead too, but I'd rather not be in the apartments or Wolfson.

Are you worried about not meeting people because you won't be living in halls? I've heard King's have a freshers event for everybody who's living out though, which should be good. I'm guessing if you just join societies and get involved as much as you can then it shouldn't be a problem. You'll probably do better in your degree because you'll have less distractions! How far out from the centre are you?

    Hey guys,
    Just firmed KCL! Pretty excited.

    Course - German and Spanish
Current location - I'm from a town in Scotland near St. Andrews
Expectations - A huge place, have a good balance between work and play, looking forward to meeting loads of different people.
Worries - Since I'm from a small town, and Scotland, I'm pretty nervous about the size and the busyness. I hope others are in the same situation as me and that's its easy to make friends as I know no one in London! Also 2nd year accom is going to be difficult... Still excited though.

    Course: War Studies
    Current Location: Surrey
Looking forward to: Specialising in what I love, meeting new people, becoming more independent, having fun while bettering myself
Worried about: I don't like London due to the shear amount of people and the chaotic nature of it all. I'm worried I won't fit in and make new friends. Ive never visited the university and so I am very worried I won't like what I find.
