# REALLY basic M1 kinematics question (edexceL) watch

1. A particle moves along a straight line, with constant acceleration, from point A to point B where AB = 48m. At A the particle has speed 4ms^-1 and at B it has speed 16ms^-1.

Find the acceleration of the particle.

so u = 4
v = 16
s = 48
a = ?

what formula do i use? :s the time taken isnt given, so i cant just make a substitution for a.
