    Well, fair enough. But my experience (of one of these courses and in the media industry) would suggest otherwise, personally. And I'd think that the people you know in the industry are a lot older, thus a number of them will have gone through the traditional straight-from-school or fast-track NCTJ route. It's not really the same now. Granted, you can become a great journalist without it, but it can greatly help.
