If we were supposed to have holes in our ears/face we would be born with them. It's funny how people make themselves look ridiculous to make them stand out .... are they trying to make up for something they haven't got ?

Jesus, even IGCSEs are a joke now.
"..from the board of cambridge" <-- doesn't make the IGCSE any more impressive.

Also, These are extremely repugnant. All people who get them must have a brain-disease because it makes you look like you've been shot.

To those saying you'll never be able to wear normal earrings again - I call BS. I've had mine stretched to 8mm for about 3 years. I took them out about 4 weeks ago and I'm currently sitting here in a pair of standard issue earrings. They will not ruin your ears if you do it right and don't go crazy with it. Do it slowly and your ear will spring right back

It's your damn body so do whatever the hell you want with it! There's some gorgeous plugs, tunnels and swirly things out there to make your ears look awesome. If you get it done at a professional place - it's between £5 and £10 a size for the use of their nice shiny tapers and the jewellery you pick out. It's the easiest way and can be the cheapest if you want to take care of your ears. My sisters method is the plastic tapers method which also works but isn't quite as painless.

Oh i see, i didn't realise i was debating with a silly child. I do beg your pardon, i shall wait to speak to somebody who has matured to the point where they would rather live and let live then make up stories to win an argument on the internet
If you say so, personally I don't see what's been made up here but If you really think so ...

Haven't you got some child porn to look up or something? I heard that is what you do.

I'm only on 2mm, weep! 6mm is my aim for now too. It's tempting to go larger, but I prefer spirals as jewellery and they don't always look so fabulous at larger gauges, in my opinion. Though that opinion is liable to change..

That's the extreme though isn't it? It's not what the OP is asking about at all.

Yes because he ignores people like you and does what he wants with himself. I respect that in a person, someone who can cope with the taunts and stares and prejudice. However the majority of us would never go that far. Interesting that you went down the easy route, found the most shocking picture you could and posted that instead of actually expanding your argument. But like i said i couldn't expect more from a child. Well done you.

Be strong! The 3 to 4mm stretch was a pain in the backside but managed it finally after a lot of coaxing and swearing :p:

If you had your lip stretched that much, would bits fall out when you ate/drank?

We weren't born with them because they serve like no purpose other than being aesthetically pleasing to some. So I guess you don't like standard ear piercings too? How dull of you. And why the assumption that it's people making an effort to stand it? I suppose you could say it'll achieve that anyway, since stretched lobes aren't the norm and are likely to attract attention, but that doesn't mean it was the persons intention to stand out. I stretch my lobes because I love the way they look and the fantastic jewellery available for them, and couldn't give a monkeys whether anyone else around me liked them or not.

    Oh yes very shallow company.
For some reason stretching ears seemed to become a lot more popular a few years ago near to where I live compared to other areas, this is why I probably know more people that have been dumped because of it.

Well if my current BF (who might i add has no mods whatsoever and is as straight laced as they come) dumped me for something like that i wouldn't consider it a great loss. I'm sure your pathetic girl mates had their reasons.
