How much harder is C2 than C1/S1? (edexcel)

As in, in terms of understanding concepts, workload, style of exam paper, etc.?

I think C2 looks quite hard at the moment to be honest.

    Thanks

It gets easier with time, personally I find C2 easier than C1 although the exam last week was a b****

basically, c1 is o.level mathematics, just without the calculator.
c2 is much easier if you cant add 1 and 2 without a calculator.

I found C2 a LOT easier than C1. I got something like 88 in C2 first time round and after my fourth attempt at C1 I had only got 66! I found S1 really easy as well (92 first time round).

I guess they are all down to personal circumstances (i.e. what topics you are good at).

Quite a lot of people find C2 easier than C1, others find C1 easier.

I'm not really sure, both are managable.

My C1 and C2 score varied by a single mark, so I can't really say which is easier/harder/the same. :dontknow:

it gets easier the more you do it; to be fair a-level maths does not get hard until you hit c4 and even then a bit of practice makes it seem pretty straightforward.

They're basically the same difficulty. One with a calculator, one without.

Well, I had an A in C2 the first time, I had a C in C1 the first time, a B in it the second time, did it again last week so fingers crossed.

When our teacher told us that C3 is what most people find to be the easiest exam, none of us believed her, but it seems she was right. C3 today was a comparatively easy paper.
