    Hi,

I took a couple of Pole classes last year and really enjoyed it. Now I'm at Uni, I've decided to invest in my own pole and start classes regularly without my parents "looking down" on me... .

Just curious as to whether many people had tried this/what they think of it as a way to keep fit and as a hobby?

I've never tried it, plan to when I get to uni next year though I think it's probably good for toned muscles, as you gotta have muscles to be able to hang upside down :O

    Good Luck with it

Im looking into it, thinking of buying a pole when i leave home in my gap year.
It's a great way to keep fit and improve your core and upper body strength.
    Good luck!

I tried it, but my hairy chest generated too much static.

I have a lot of female friends who have done it, it's supposed to be good fun, confidence building, and pretty physically intense at moments.

I love love love it... its really fun, very challenging and you can definitely feel the workout afterwards... would definitely buy a pole if I had a decent ceiling/ space to put it somewhere!
