Why is it that Scottish and Welsh students, if they attend a Uni in their own country get their Tution fee's paid by their Government?

Yet the English don't? It's a total joke.

I go to Uni in Wales, and due to this there are tonnes of Welsh who couldn't give a toss about their education, but are going on the fact that it's "free".

Carrying on from this, if they are means tested also, they get grants for their Accomodation also. So here I am paying 7k year for an education and some pisshead with EEE at A level is virtually there for free.

They have their own governing bodies whilst being apart of the English gov. so its our gov's fault for choosing for us to pay and their nations decision to do it that way. Its not a 'total joke', Englands larger with more unis so its infeasible for all eds to be free, and another 'nation' shouldnt have to pay for you cos you chose their uni when you werent born in that country.

Technically, England doesn't have its own parliament, just the UK one. This means that with tuition fees, Welsh, Scottish and NI MPs can vote on us having to pay them, without it affecting their constituents as such. This means that it isn't neccasarilly the english MPs fault (it could be that if only the english MPs were allowed to vote, tuition fees may not have been brought in, I don't know though). That is a joke...
