Hey everyone, well i had wjec ph2 exam today was great, although i am doubtful on few questions.
One was regarding wavelengths , question was would a shallower water or deep water be fast.It was shown on the diagram that the shalower water had more shorter wavelengths i.e more wavelengths and deep water had more longer wavelength. To which i answered that deep water has slow speed compare to shallow.
    2) next was about gradient of an intensity / wavelength question which was of one mark. all it said was would there be gradient of zero apart from extreme to which i answered No.
    3) There was this question on yonugs experiment: a microscale was shown which had 8 fringes within it and the total distance was 10mm, so to find y for equation: (Lamda= ay/d) i divided 10x10^-3 / 8 = to get 1.25x10^-3, have i got it wrong?
    4) last had to do with optical fibre it was given that a ray of light falls at a minimum angle of 72 to the core, and refractive index of 1.52 was given for the core and i had to find out the refractive index for the cladding which i got about 1.42, i think it makes sense as for TIR to happen thats a true value.
yep all of these approximate to 7-10 marks , can someone clarify these to me. Thanks
