    Can't say I ever had a problem. If you're intelligent enough to know what the markers are looking for you can manipulate your answer to tick the boxes. Waffling about irrelevant information could result in a bad grade but you'd have to be pretty bad to do that. Oh well its all in the past now, they're very easy but you need to seperate people at that stage.

    thats exactly my point, knowing what the markers are looking for does not require intelligence, just a quick look on the exam boards mark scheme.

    But there are still some people who aren't intelligent enough to work this out. I know people who genuinely tried and still did badly, so I don't know how else to describe them apart from unintelligent.
