Coming out today... watch

Hi. I'm 16 years old and I've known I was a lesbian for a while now. In the past week I've finally been plucking up the courage to say it out loud to my parents and close friends.

I've made the first move: I was chatting to my friend today and said I had something to tell her but it was quite hard for me to say. She said tell her by text, so I'm going to. I'm waiting for her to text me, because she's gone to the hospital for an appointment - it should only be two hours now at the very most before she texts me and I tell her I'm a lesbian.

The reason I'm telling her first is that she is a lesbian too and I know she won't be shocked/angry etc. She's also my closest friend so it all fits really. The thing is, I'm very nervous anyway (even though I know she'll be fine) and even though it's pretty daft, I wondered if you had any advice on what to say, or even any funny coming out stories to make me feel less sick!

I know it's silly to be nervous when she's a lesbian as well, but it is a very big step for me and I'm shaking like a leaf! Help! xxx
