My band was temporarily called the gobi desert canoe club... that's just about the weirdest name I can think of ^_^
Oli & the Poos is quite weird. In 'Where is my Wife', they sing about fishcakes :yep:

Enter Shikari means Enter Hunter kind of. It's indian I think. Not made up.
