Not sure what you're aiming at here but I'd have thought that the easier option would just be to go for undergrad social work not for something else then masters - the masters is mostly for graduates of other subjects who later discover that social work is what they want to do as a career as I understood it...

As social work degrees are a professional qualification, they all have to meet very similar standards and cover similar topics so employers don't particularly look at where your degree's from; they're more interested in the experience you've gained whilst on placement and from volunteering/doing other paid work. Some of the more popular unis I've heard mentioned by applicants on here and on other forums are Keele, Salford, Manchester, Manchester Met and Hertfordshire.
