I know this is pretty basic compared to some of the other stuff on here but I really dont have a clue how to do this. ITs shameful to say Im doing my 3rd year dissertation at uni and I have carefully managed to avoid doing any stats work over the past 3 years, and barely remember any from 6th form.

I have carried out a questionnaire, and have attempted to code it....i dont know if iv even done that right.

I've put it into excel and for each answer iv labelled it 1,2, 3, 4 etc.....and then tallied how many each answer got.

    e.g.

    1. How often do you use the internet?

    1. several times a day 56
    2. once a day 37
    3. every other day 14
    4. once a week 8
    5. less often 1

    Is this right?

And After ive done this i have to start to do some statistical testing, i dont know where to start. Is it possible for someone to explain it step by step? or is there a really good tutorial online?

If I sound desperate its because I am. Any help would be really really appreciated. Thanks x
