Ok so I met this guy through work around 2 years ago and had a major crush on him however, I found out he had a girlfriend so I let it go...I don't often see him but when I did at Christmas he told me he'd split up with his girlfriend. We spoke everytime we saw each other and last week he asked me to meet up(Win!) so exchanged numbers and have been texting.

Only thing is, he says he's busy over the next few weekends and the first weekend he is free to meet up is 13th/14th Feb which consequently is Valentines!. I'm assuming it's a date as when he ended the text he said 'If nobodys beaten me to it ' What I want to know is, Valentines first date good or bad? He's on about coming to visit me at uni and presumably stay overnight.

Shouldn't make much difference, me and my boyfriend had our first date on Valentine's Day...although that was a coincidence because neither of us remembered it was Valentines day until we tried to plan an anniversary meal the next year :giggle: maybe just see what happens?
