Best way to exchange gig tickets? Watch

I have a ticket to see Lady GaGa on February 24th but I can't go any more because of a graduate scheme assessment centre. I want to get a ticket for a different date but it seems all the dates are sold out.

So what do you think my best plan is? The only thing I can think of is selling my ticket for enough to buy one from a tout, but touting is bad. Still, I've checked the ethical sites and there's none for sale on them.

Ideally I'd find someone I could swap dates with, but I wouldn't know where to look.

So is eBay/Seatwave really my only option?

Id use eBay or ask around if anyone wants to buy it.

Is there a Lady Gaga fan-forum you could keep an eye on to see if you could buy a ticket for the night you want and sell your ticket?

If not, then ebay is probably your best bet. Usually I'd say avoid ebay like the plague since it rapes fans, but if you want another ticket to a sold out show then it's probably best to sell your ticket and then use the profits to buy another ticket on ebay.

There's always scarletmist for selling face value, but again its selling & buying rather than exchanging.

Yeah I was looking on Scarletmist but there was none on there. I don't want to sell mine at face value if I can't buy one back at face value as that would put me about £60-70 out of pocket.

Fan forums, I suppose I could have a better look. I only checked the official website forum the other day.

I got offered one on a dating site forum for £70 last night but that would be a lot of trust to put into someone I don't know. :\
But it's cheaper than they're going for on players like eBay.

Anyone know of some good GaGa fan forums then?

I'm trying to shift a Rammstein one and these sites set you a limit of £30 above face value. I'm willing to sell it for face value + postage but can't find anywhere either. I'd rather give it to someone at the proper price than make money on it.
