I'm a first year undergraduate student and was wondering if I have to apply for student finance again to get my loan for my second year. Also, my parents income has dropped since last June, before I sent my form off..so is there any way I can get the extra grant for last year, or is it too late?

From the 29th January onwards you can apply for 2nd year loans and you need to send a changes of circumstances form if your parent's income has dropped significantly, i think there is a certain amount it must drop (15%?).

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Educatio...year/DG_171586 <<< here is the list where you can download and print off the form.
