I stopped going the gym because I was no longer living close enough to one then I moved away for uni ect so my exercise and eating habits went to ****, anyway my girlfriend got Wii Fit and it called me obsese! (the damn bmi counts muscle as fat) and I thought hell man I am going to get back into a routine (stupid reason to I know)
So at the moment what I have been doing is 20 minute run then 3 of the body routines on wii fit which is various cardio and muscular exercises. On top of this I walk 4 miles 3 times a week back and forth to uni as well as other trips out to the shops ect.
Aside from this I decided to keep a track of what I am eating make sure I am around the daily guideline amounts and at the same time I have cut out any form of caffine drink (apart from tea =))
I am planning to re-join a gym here but money is tight for the moment and have to make the best of what I have got.
Can anyone tell me if what I am doing is effective if not how I can improve it? thanks.

Try lightly jogging around the uni first and instead of taking the lift use the stairs and carrying shopping is great for muscles.

Don't fanny about with wii fit. It's ****. Buy a pair of adjustable dumbbells for ~£30 and do this:

it doesn't really say weather you should use light weights(toneing) or heavy weights (muscle building_
Stop making it more complicated than it really is, just get out there and do something. -
